1. How to recognize an Isim (noun) - For most isim, there are indications that we use to identify that it as isim. However , some isim do not have an indicator.
a. Recognize the meaning - If you know the meaning, and the meaning is noun (isim), then the word is isim. What if you do not know the meaning?, then ..
b. The word begins with alif lam ( ال ) . Alif Lam to show it is a known noun, like in English .. The Car, it is a known car.
c. The word end with tanween, a noon sound at the end. Example .. وَلَدًٌ , وَلَدً, ولدِ
d. The word after Haraf JAR, we will learn about haraf JAR
e. Words that exist with male and female form, example jamil (male) and the female of it is jamiliah.
f. Words after exclamation, Yaa..
The Verb or fiil are divided into 3 groups. They are words to show the action. Verbs are divided into 3 types:
a. Past - الماضي (almadhi) - the root or default form of a word
2. Present and Future - المضارع ( almudore' ), derived from the past tense, the last letter can change.
3. Command or order or request الاءمر (al'amar),
The word by itself does not carry a meaning.
Example:
- على - on
- من - from
- فى - in
- الى - to
